About

Hello,

I’m George (known as JustGeorgeJ).

I’m a twenty-two-year-old student blogger residing in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. Originally from Hinckley, Leicestershire. I have graduated from Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln after studying a three-year Undergraduate degree in BA (Hons) Drama in the Community – achieving the grade of an Upper Second Class Honours.

The next step for me as a student is to study my Master’s degree at the University of Lincoln from September 2017 where I shall be studying an MA Drama degree specialising in Playwriting. From there, hopefully, a PhD.

I have been running this blog, JustGeorgeJ, for the past three years of my life. I started it in September 2014, just before starting university, and it was intended to document my personal day-to-day life through my years at BGU. However, it soon spiraled into something much more and became an active student advice blog where I would share my hints, tips, experiences, and journey through university. The content I posted earned my blog an award for ‘Top 33 Student Blogs in 2016’ which was absolutely incredible!

Now my Undergraduate degree has ended, I intend to start writing about more than University and my experiences there, I intend to open it up to my entire life and experiences there. However, I will still be documenting my MA degree at the University of Lincoln over at my other blog; The MA Life.

For now, this is me. As my new tagline states; a twenty-something graduate and his ramblings! Intend to find content surrounding everything and anything. If you would like to read up on my old content, look for the ‘University Journey‘ tab above!

Thank you for reading and the support,

JustGeorgeJ
